100% RECYCLABLE
= less plastic in landfills.
Recycling is important if we want to preserve our planet for future generations. That is why 100% of our stock patterns are made from BOPP, which is 100% Recyclable #5, a 100% recyclable material. When items are recycled, we are not only keeping those items out of our landfills and oceans, but we are also using those materials to create new products.
One of the most commonly recycled plastics in the world, HDPE carries a universal sign for recycling. It has a “Number 2” inside the recycling triangle to indicate that it is recyclable. After it has been recycled, these polymers end up finding new life in plumbing pipes, children’s toys, plastic ropes, and plastic containers.
We can all take steps to help reduce our carbon footprint and slow down climate change as much as possible. One way we are doing so is with Mineral Paper. Mineral Paper is made with 50% less plastic and is made from 100% recyclable plastic (recyclable #2). By using this eco-friendly material we hope to reduce our waste and help preserve our planet.
Size Matters
As part of our corporate responsibility to be eco-friendly, Temkin PPC has committed to reducing our stock size by ½ inch. In doing so, we will save 59,400 lbs of plastic every year. When we use less material, we are creating less waste.
